Upcycling

Upcycling describes the process of making useful things with materials that would normally be discarded. This upgrades the old materials and gives it a second life. Almost any types of materials can be upcycled, from plastic bottles to leather scraps, from cardboard boxes to plastic containers! This creative process is sure to be lots of fun for kids of all ages, and you will also learn to appreciate the value of unwanted items. Like what they always say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

About the Programme

This creative process is sure to be lots of fun for kids of all ages, and you will also learn to appreciate the value of unwanted items. Like what they always say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure

This would help students embark on their journeys towards being environmental stewards and role models for their peers regarding environmental issues.

The Upcycling workshop is an eco-friendly enrichment programme which would expose students to upcycling as well as impart to them knowledge on how upcycling can benefit the environment.

This workshop would inspire students to take ownership of the waste that they produce by choosing to creatively upcycle reusable materials instead of discarding them immediately.
